Xin's travels through the Higherlands normally requires him to be able to eat on the go, as opposed to stopping for big meals.

While Xin's not nearly as good of a chef as Mickey, being familiar with making recipes that's at least somewhat like home can help make the journey just a little easier. Especially if it's portable!
