Saphrite is a sell sword or mercenary for hire depending on who has the more appealing deal for her.  Sometimes she's a treasure hunter, a bodyguard, an adventurer, a town hero (or villain depending on point of view).  She' nimble and quick with her sword and has spent several years honing her sword style to better survive encounters.
