Sometimes I imagine that because they're different kinds of dragons, Cynder doesn't stimulate Toothless as effectively as a Nightfury/Lightfury would, so it takes more time and effort to finish with her. So that would explain why she's tired.

No, there is a silly backstory about how Toothless's human rider is creating a guidebook on breeding dragons and so is having Toothless try various poses to see what works.
