I've been a fan of collectable creature games as long as I can remember, which had me excited for the release of Palworld. Discovering the game is a mash up of all sorts of video game genres I enjoy was icing on the cake! It also stirs the memory of my own collectable creature creations. It takes many of the concepts and implications that are found in the obscure reaches of Palworld, and moves them out into plain view.

One of many prospects I play around with, is people with different body shapes, being just that. For example I'd say Wolfy is just as  much a Pal as Direhowl, and just as much a Poke'mon as Lycanroc, and they are each just as much a person as Wolfy. Every one works and lives together in Palworld, and I love it.

This picture idea popped in my head while galivanting atop Direhowl across the countryside! I was pretty inspired overall and excited to share in this new mythos. I had fun drawing these two dog piling tamer Wolfy here. There are many collectable creatures that I enjoy, enough that narrowing the list down to two was a challenge. So I chose a couple I felt fit especially well with each other, and Wolfy, sharing the wolf aesthetic, with Direhowl being the first point of inspiration.

I enjoy the game play loop and sense of adventure and scale in Palworld. Having the option to just go home and look after my Pal Ranch/Farm brings me joy too!
