Small troublemaking animals might end up inside someone like Beachcomber.  Big ones, maybe inside an orca.  Middle sized ones fall under the purview of fairly large preds like Greg the semi feral polar bear.

The bunny doberman is just taking advantage of the situation.  Might end up as dessert, might now, but if he does, at least he'll reform.  Not like the sea lion, who gets a one time trip through Greg's bowels. You cause enough trouble on the beach, someone will do something about you.
