Boop destroys her balance, he catches her as she is falling in order to set get down more gently (and less embarassingly).

To Lamb,"Good chi defeats bad chi." To Birk,"You gotta watch out for the short people. What they lack in height, they make up in spiciness."

It would be boring if it was one curb stomp after another.

Fight, fight, fight, kiss, kiss, kiss

You did not bite his finger.

That push be like: "SIT!"

Yo, lizard man speaks funny. I may have missed something, but it feels like Mayor Cock was the last person who had a unique voice. I love it.

You're one to talk, Morgan. You weren't even in the match!

I really appreciate that Fen has the ability to see the humor in her defeat despite a moment previously being frustrated at being caught out with no options.

Fen is definitely holding back.

Love the comedy in this so much.

"sky is BLUE" .. above the tree :P

team work is Important.?

They are against equals who have spent as much time (if not more) honing their skills. Probably specifically for this competition, in preparation of facing a variety of users and techniques. It is likely a very differentnt mindset and skill-base. Ones that at least Fenn might not have experience or study in.
I agree. To build on this: People who fight in life-or-death situations and then have to fight in competitions absolutely have to moderate their skills. Probably not as many "shadow swords that literally bisect people" uses of magic in the competition arena compared to fighting slavers in the woods.

The possibilities are exciting.
I agree. It also showcases the skill levels involved in the competition. Fenn (et al) aren't fighting thugs with a trick/specialty or two. Fens to used to street brawls. She's a quick learner so I imagine she's gonna pick up on the rules quick and start really getting into shorter more effective castings that suit her. P.s.
