a lot of this is true but the "fleeing American researcher" isn't that big of an issue, especially compared to the other problems. Well educated professionals are usually the first to jump a sinking ship since their skills are in high demand but typically those people end up in Europe or the US, so while some local scientists do express the desire to relocate the US has always attracted the bulk of professionals looking to expatriate due to high wages even when compared to the rest of the west and lots of opportunities, and both of those hold true in the US when compared to the alternatives. People used to routinely go to Russia or China to work as scientists and other skilled professions but for obvious reasons they've gotten worse to the point it makes the US still preferable to move to. For a frame of reference Sweden, a member of the prestigious Nordic league with some of the highest wages and best welfare systems on earth, has around 80% the rate of doctorate holders than the US even setting aside the fact that the US has over 30x as many people. Along with that depending on who you ask the US has something like 1/3 of the worlds top research labs, research universities, and such (MIT, Carnegie, CalTech, Harvard, Berkley, and Stanford to name a few). A large part isn't just because of American schools cranking out tons of graduates but because of how many educated immigrants the US gets every year compared to their relatively low number of people emigrating from the US. The idea of an American brain drain largely comes from a single poll that found a majority of those polled said they wanted to leave, not that they were going to and we saw the same when Trump took office the first time: tons of people wanted to move, many even promised they'd move if he did win, but when he took office the number of emigrants fleeing Trump was so insignificant that the US experienced population growth rather than decline as many fled their own deteriorating countries including many skilled professionals like scientists.

surprised the X jet isn't on fire.

This isn't even editorializing. This is just a record of what has happened in 6 short months. In fairness to my knowledge gender enforcement officer has not be hired. A J6er did not beat up a scientist after getting a pardon, it was domestic violence on their partner among other crimes by that select group.
