If any of you Cake Heads out there recall, I use to work on a different submod (before my own) called Project Phoenix. In that submod, I spent **days** making the highest quality portraits I could for the mod, only for them to uh... never be used, as far as I am aware. the creator of the mod got burned out, and my work went unused. I was so burned out that I completely stopped making art like this for a while because it takes so god damn long... anyways. Background time on this image.
0.5 of Blizzard in the North (thats my EAW submod) will see you taking over Griffonia in the name of the solar empire, ending the false empire and reuniting east and west ponykind, as you do so, you will establish protectorates, tributaries, puppets more or less. This will be the plutocracy leader of a puppeted Aquileia. The puppets will be split between two factions within the military high command, that being commissars and inquisitors. Fleur-De-Lis will belong to the commissars and will rule Aquileia, harsh but fair, obey the empire wishes and she can be quite rewarding. Hailing from Prance, she speaks the language and knows the culture, plus her families history leaves her with a deep hate for both the monarchy and the republicans. But that's something you will have to read more about when she is in the mod. 0.4 is out and 0.5 (I really, really hope) should be read by the end of this month, unless I somehow cant finish a few focuses and write up all the events in like 25 days, who knows, maybe I will find another major error that takes me a week to fix.

What's a submod? and holy shit this is a technical marvel of color and design. Fan art like this should be commissioned for the Kayou Card sets. I mean it the eyes alone stir a level of sensual flirtatiousness that makes me feel giddy.
So sad that Project Phoenix was such a disappointment for you--yet, befitting its name, you've turned it around. This is beautiful stuff and I will have to add this sometime!
