"description": "*The fictitious escapades of one Miss Daring Do, as portrayed by the actress who insists on being known solely by the character's name for telling want of any other notable roles to her own, are widely understood to have peaked with her third feature outing; a point beyond which few other franchises likely to be named by anybody who's anybody on the Equestrian beach scene if asked on the matter have persisted. While the fourth installment remained about as profitable as any contemporary production of its nature, benefitting from the established appeal of the brand so as to be rendered too big to fail despite any inferiority of reception compared to its predecessors, the fifth film, co-starring the resultantly late Captain Celaeno, fell significantly short of the critical standards set by Daring Do's every prior performance and producers' commercial expectations alike, ultimately yielding a net loss for the studio thanks in no small part to its leading lady's inflated pay grade. As time's advance now nears three years passed since that whole setback, the sixth Daring Do movie makes likewise with completion of its production; one many viewers had not foreseen happening at all until it was proven to be so, and which easily wouldn't have happened without its star's own insistent efforts and major funding contribution to ensure her career's continuation. Rather befittingly of her onscreen self's noted tenacity, the real-life Daring Do is adamant in her refusal to let herself fade into obscurity even as she nears the age around which many another actress within her particular field of specialty and/or present position might seriously consider throwing in the towel or even throwing herself upon one to sunbathe while still opportune to leave a beautiful corpse, and has been confident throughout the development and filming of her intended comeback vehicle in its - and her own - prospects, knowing she'll not be getting another chance to turn her franchise around past this one while bearing the impression that it and she are more likely to succeed for this fact, seeing how they \"have\" to. Clearly, the so-called Miss Do has let the scripted, staged endeavors of the Daring character and her uncannily yet inevitably consistent ability to narrowly elude certain death on a regular basis cloud her view of a reality wherein she is as fallible and mortal as anybody and indeed everybody else.*\r\n\r\n*As a vanity project on which Daring Do is betting her entire future in show business and quite possibly life itself, the film features many elements based on her personal creative input, to the point where she is credited as a co-writer, albeit generously-so and at her own express request just as well. Taking several cues from recently up-and-coming storytelling genres known primarily through the medium of the printed page thus far, the plot and premise make use of related tropes and conventions to bring the Daring Do series to its eponym's idea of new heights, namely involving radically more pronounced depictions of the fantastical and explicitly supernatural compared to the relatively grounded setting of previous installments and a corresponding shift in the titular character's own depiction, very much elevating her to being treated as a proper superheroine. The most impactful distinction for purposes of perceived popular appeal and to the production itself alike, though, is the drastically increased number of suntan lotionings called for by the script; more than that across the entirety of the initial trilogy and close to the cumulative body count up through the fourth movie as well. Per Daring Do's emphatic insistence, all of them are moreover to be every bit as authentic as all her prior tannings even with effects technology having well-since reached the point of being able to create the seamless appearance of onscreen sunbathing without anyone needing to give her life for it in reality, and hence, more than a dozen expendable actresses roped into their perilous parts by assorted means have done precisely that throughout the shooting process so far as the cameras now roll on the film's erotic climax following its action-based one with the execution of Daring Do's latest arch-antagonist in keeping with the unscrupulous adventurer's usual routine come time for definitively dealing with her enemies. Daring has, again, lotioned significantly more lesser foes and incidentally bitchy bystanders needing to be permanently put in their place like so over the course of her journey here next to any other she's been on, but the sheer staggering overall total of bronzed bodies piled up along the way can be attributed to… well, to Daring Do's own demands for the movie's storyline and the deadly methods by which it's been brought to life, as a matter of natural course in reality. Within the context of said plot, though, numerous stated casualties, of which a solid several are fully detailed and therefore likewise genuine, are fictionally credited to the machinations of the villainous Maneiac, whose crime spree revolves around the use of a toxin which overwhelms its victims with an uncontrollable lust that effectively possesses them to suntan lotion themselves on the spot, leading to many a sexy suicide. With all lotionings across her existing filmography having been applied as unilateral executions, generally with herself as the presiding mistress, Daring Do was deviously eager to vary up the styles of suntan snuffing showcased in this installment, even allowing Maneiac a sizable share of the relevant spotlight for multiple scenes of murderous massaging by her own hands. The initially scripted plan called for the same said hands to seal Maneiac's own sexy demise as she'd be subjected to her own poison and made to suffer an identically self-fondled fate to that met by its other recipients, but having taken quite the perverse liking to her doomed co-star throughout their time on-set together, Daring Do has called off that angle at the last minute in favor of a more traditional and supposedly crowd-pleasing - if decidedly less poetically-apt - comeuppance for the villainess, seeing her own self taking the reins of the rubdown.*\r\n\r\n*Thus, Daring suntan lotions Maneiac personally, and given the heinous severity of the latter's onscreen and otherwise imagined crimes as easily the utmost vicious evildoer the former has ever gone up against, the treatment involved is exceptionally well-accentuated, practically amounting to torture for much of the application's duration. Maneiac the actress is predictably none too pleased with this change of plans from the sort of suntan session she'd been pointedly preparing for, but declines from voicing complaint in understanding herself to be a lotioned woman in equally absolute measure for every version of how the role she signed up for was ever going to play out unto its only natural conclusion as that of the narrative's losing party in a glorified snuff film. The matter of Maneiac's own body count as stacked up over the course of her scenes' shooting, those compelled to lotion themselves via the fictional mechanisms wrought by her character included in weighing upon her conscience, helps those where accepting her fate as inflicted in such unexpectedly harsh fashion is concerned as well; as an aging model who'd been determined to offer herself up for high-profile sunbathing sooner than her beauty entered decline, she had readily agreed to her part in this production knowing fully well what it would mean for her, yet in advance of realizing just how fatal it would be for far more than merely her own self. Besides, what serious suffering Maneiac's punishment entails is realistically tame by comparison to just about any mode of mortality, let alone execution, without the lethal luxury that is suntan lotion as the name of the endgame, and reasonably short-lived prior to the pleasure induced thereby overtaking and ultimately outright eclipsing the pain involved along with all other factors of deathly distress altogether. Determining to tough out her treatment in any case as the sun's light shines and all surrounding cameras zoom in on what action will see her moaning out her swan song, Maneiac hence goes through all the scripted throes of her defeat, with the character defiantly cursing the outcome and Daring Do herself, in paradoxically sporting stride on her part as an actress, past which she promptly finds herself rather rapidly warming up to the supreme sexiness of suntan lotion, with all the usual results thereof elapsing on cue from there on out. When all's said done done, Maneiac succumbs to her sunbathing with the widest of smiles plastered across her brightly blush-enveloped face forevermore; a manner of finishing to which the villainess's ostensible victims were instructed to adhere in submitting to the supposed effects of her toxin, making it a soundly befitting end for her to share despite being given no similar direction. Delivering her post-kill one-liner as Maneiac reaps her (fictitiously) hard-earned final reward in full and drops thusly dead upon her tanning towel before smirkily grinning and gesturing to the camera with her signature sign-off catchphrase, Daring Do is high not only on the thrill of her \"victory\", but in her hopes for the picture's success and her corresponding career prospects, feeling she's done everything right as to securing the hit she so desperately needs… but only time will tell how the film and its star prove to fare in actuality, sun knowing just what a tough crowd the ladies of the Equestrian beach scene well and truly are!*",
