But of course, Giovanni found out and was furious he was getting what he referred to as a “synthetic knockoff”, and personally went to shut down to project and cut the funding.\n\nOf course Dr. Fuji begged him to reconsider and promised him it would just as good if not better than a real Mewtwo, but of course this feel onto deaf ears, and Giovanni moved to press the button that would terminate the synethetic Mewtwo before it could finish developing and in sheer desperation, Dr. Fuji pounced on Giovanni to stop him from destroying his work and losing the funds to help save his daughter.\n\nA struggle ensued and Giovanni knocked Dr. Fuji into the glass tubing containing the synthetic Mewtwo, the Rubber Mewtwo’s container cracked open and it began to dissolve and the liquified synthetic Mewtwo began coating Dr. Fuji. The professor struggled to get it off of him but it was too late and he was soon completely engulfed in his creation.
