Because before we could really get invested in Edgar or any of the plot points involved with him, the story suddenly shifted into a random bully arc whose purpose isn't really clear yet. Why are we following this character? What purpose does his story serve to the message of the story? Sure, he has a tragic backstory and it explains why he's a bully, but we got like, two or three pages of him max before suddenly two-thirds of the comic became about something that has absolutely nothing to do with the original synopsis and building themes.\n",
