It was inspired by a Christmas card from Victorian England, depicting rabbits wearing bows playing ping-pong in the snow, that was making the rounds on Bluesky at the time I drew it. In making my own version of that cheeky design, I ended up with something cool enough to divorce itself from its origins.</p><p>I did two things differently from other pictures in this calendar. First, I drew the background characters in my first effort at micro-scale figure drawing since my avatar work in <cite><a href=\"https://thegreenherring.neocities.org/art/2022/ZOZ-AV.html\" rel=\"nofollow ugc\">ZOZ</a></cite>. Then, I found myself experimenting with motion lines within the limits of default ANSI text and single-screen resolution. You can almost hear the ping-pong game going on!</p><p>Drawn November 26, 2025!</p>\n"
