Aside from the multiple re-writes, probably the hardest thing to work on for me was Sisu’s mane. I must have re-drawn it three times at least because it looked too visually busy or too messy or was just too much of a hassle to shade and highlight. I think I’m going to have to try and re-design Sisu’s mane to something simpler and more stylized to help speed things along next time."
