First he got his foot claws caught in them and lost his balance, falling on his shoulder against the wall. Then when they were half way up his legs, he realized he had them on back to front. The whole situation had become a farce and he desperately wanted to be anywhere else.\n\nHe glanced up at the window in front of him, and saw in the reflection that Carol was staring at his butt. Taking a deep breath, he stepped out onto the landing and tiptoed down the hall to what he hoped would be his salvation.\n\nFollowing Carol through another door, Kolle quickly realized he was standing in Emily’s bedroom. He almost was when he heard the door hinge squeak behind him, but it was just shutting by itself. The mouse walked over to her daughter’s dresser and opened the top drawer. Put these on first.” She tossed something in his direction from across the room and reflexively, [b]stupidly[/b], he tried to grab it. A pair of Emily’s underwear hit him square in the neck, but no sooner had Kolle’s paws closed around them, he realized his mistake. Turning away from the older woman, he bent down to pull them on. Kolle’s nerves were already frayed, but his current situation made even the most basic task an exercise in frustration. First he got his foot claws caught in them and lost his balance, falling on his shoulder against the wall. Then when they were half way up his legs, he realized he had them on back to front. The whole situation had become a farce and he desperately wanted to be anywhere else.\n\nHe glanced up at the window in front of him, and saw in the reflection that Carol was staring at his butt. He brought his tail down to make sure his balls weren’t visible between his thighs as he went to take the underwear off again. Only then did it click that the window was acting as a giant mirror; the bright bedroom light reflecting off the glass and obscuring the night sky beyond.
