"description": "MY PLACE s02:e41 - The Fox Returns\n\nA familiar green tent had once again parked itself beneath the shade of the town tree this morning. The last time its occupant was here, I couldn’t afford any of his fancy artwork, but now I’m a bug-rich hot-shot with a museum to donate to. Unlike the fossil, fish and bug exhibits, the art gallery was depressingly bare. I figured that, at the very least, I could acquire some replicas for the owls to hang up in some pretty frames or something.\n\nAccording to Redd, however, these were no mere replicas.\n “I’ll tell ya,” he proclaimed after welcoming me like a long-lost family member “this week’s items are as rare as they come. I’m almost green with envy that I can’t buy ‘em all!”\n\nFor those that have forgotten, I’m… not much of an art person. Some of these paintings and things looked kinda familiar, but I couldn’t tell you their names. A lot of them had those weird looking creatures in them again. Gangly things with beady little eyes. Very strange.\n\nI focused in on this one painting with a huge wave and a mountain in the background. It was kinda scary looking, what with the little boats caught up in the violent water and all. The apron-clad Fox described it as “dynamic”, which I guess is also appropriate. Kind of a simple name for a work of art, no?\n\n“So, between you and me…” he remarked as I inspected the canvas. “I’m sellin’ it for just 4,000 Bells this time and this time only. What d’ya think? Ya want it?”\n\nI recognised this painting, actually.\n It was hung up in one of my classes back home. Well, a copy of it anyways. I couldn’t quite put my finger on it, but something about this one was a little different.\n\n“Is this, like, some sort of alteration or remake?” I asked.\n\nRedd was quick to answer.\n “No, no!” he reassured, nodding profusely. “This is the genuine article, right here… and it’s on sale!”\n\n“Hmmm….”\n I concluded that, since I was currently standing in a different world to my own, that surely some discrepancies are bound to happen, despite the many similarities. It’s like in those sci-fi movies with parallel universes where traffic lights are blue, Tony Blair never got elected and Pete Tyler is still alive. “I’ll take it!”\n\n“Woah! Really?!” Redd exclaimed, obviously taken aback by my ability to recognise fine art. “What a shock! Well, obviously you’d have to be as CRAZY as me to pass it up!” I really wish he had informed about this craziness before I gave him my money. “Lemme just get that sweet, sweet payment and we’ll be all set!”\n\nHeh, reminds me of Tom a little.\n\nThe painting arrived in the mail the next day and I was very much looking forward to giving it to Blathers. Just think, today a single painting stands on display, but soon the entire gallery will be filled with pure, unadulterated culture! I hope this Redd fella comes around more often.\n \n\n~Author’s Notes~\n\nYou can probably guess where this is going, huh?\n\n\nI re-read the last episode to feature Redd, back in season one, to make sure I didn’t miss any details and, man, My Place looked a lot different back then. Maybe one day I’ll do a HD remaster…",

Maybe one day I’ll do a HD remaster…"
