      "description": "[color=#a40000]CONTENT WARNING\n[BLOOD - SELF-HARM - DROWNING - SUICIDE][/color]\n\nConfronting your own perception of your biggest enemy is not easy, and it's not something you can do on your own, it's painful, brings back a lot of bad memories, makes you shiver and pant, makes your chest feel empty, your thoughts get showered in fear and paranoia, you think those bad things are gonna happen again and again and again, that there is no escape, and eventually the end of it will not be happy at all.\nAnd then you find a friend. One that makes you realize that at least a part of it it's over, that the biggest enemy you held grudge against was truly a distorted perception of your own thoughts, and that the real enemy was a dark myst coming from somewhere else, realizing that someone else has been poisoning your thoughts and slowly laid a veil of darkness in front of your eyes, gaslighting you into thinking someone else was the problem.\n\nCeroba really struck to me when I saw her, I sensed something about this character that was deeply disturbing me and couldn't put a finger right away on what it was, then realized she was to me the incarnation of every negative aspect and thought I used to have about my real life mother. I hated her, hated what she had done in the game cause I felt it very close to me, hated how she acted, hated how close she was to my past. I even got a custom Veangenace Route save so I could pay her back, even using the Kanako sprite... but it still wasn't enough. Nothing used to work. Because she was a part of me. She was inside me, and destroying her in a game could not change the fact she was in me.\nThings went on like this for a while, I learned what forgiveness is, understood Ceroba's reasons but still felt viscerally scared of her, even after making peace with my irl mother and getting back into a normal relationship with her.\nAnd then I've tried something different, asking a very dear friend if we could attempt a rather different kind of roleplay, asked that friend to play as Ceroba to see if I could get over this problem.\n\nThis comic is a summarized version of how things went. It helped me a lot seeing things under a different spotlight, putting a lot of thoughts on paper, and afterwards realizing that Ceroba wasn't the enemy, but rather the dark itself, a toxic dark coming from a real life person that poisoned my thoughts for more than 20 years and no matter how hard I try, I'm unable to give that person a proper shape, it is to me on all levels a shapeless shadow that tried to control me and is still trying to up to this day even when it's not actually there.\nBut now I know, I've taken a step further, and I know that the fox herself was not the real threat.\nMaybe one day that dark won't be able to poison my thoughts anymore, but for now I am glad I grew up even if just a little.\n\nTake care of yourselves, your little you deserves that 💜",

I hated her, hated what she had done in the game cause I felt it very close to me, hated how she acted, hated how close she was to my past. I even got a custom Veangenace Route save so I could pay her back, even using the Kanako sprite... but it still wasn't enough. Nothing used to work. Because she was a part of me. She was inside me, and destroying her in a game could not change the fact she was in me.\nThings went on like this for a while, I learned what forgiveness is, understood Ceroba's reasons but still felt viscerally scared of her, even after making peace with my irl mother and getting back into a normal relationship with her.\nAnd then I've tried something different, asking a very dear friend if we could attempt a rather different kind of roleplay, asked that friend to play as Ceroba to see if I could get over this problem.\n\nThis comic is a summarized version of how things went. It helped me a lot seeing things under a different spotlight, putting a lot of thoughts on paper, and afterwards realizing that Ceroba wasn't the enemy, but rather the dark itself, a toxic dark coming from a real life person that poisoned my thoughts for more than 20 years and no matter how hard I try, I'm unable to give that person a proper shape, it is to me on all levels a shapeless shadow that tried to control me and is still trying to up to this day even when it's not actually there.\nBut now I know, I've taken a step further, and I know that the fox herself was not the real threat.\nMaybe one day that dark won't be able to poison my thoughts anymore, but for now I am glad I grew up even if just a little.\n\nTake care of yourselves, your little you deserves that 💜"
