However Peter the cat managed to meet up with Au Fay afterward and take a selfie together! If Peter wanted to say \"I am a cat\" in Mandarin Chinese, it would be 我是一只猫 or \"wǒ shì yì zhī māo.\" In my video, I link a Google doc Au Fay wrote on Chinese furry terminology, and it shows how to say \"I am X species\" and talk about furries in Chinese!
