"description": "a very personal piece, that came to me during a visit to the aquarium,together with a poem by @Rodgerblue inspired by the piece <3\n---\nThey had set the stage well as I walk through the darkened corridors,\nto the places behind thick glass and rippling waters.\n\nLike a race memory I'm immediately pulled into a fugue,\na fever dream of haunting shapeless memories\nthat tantalize and refuse attempts at clarity.\n\nIt overlays dream layered upon memory upon the tableau,\nbefore me a fusion of menagerie and stagecraft.\n\nA slice of the world of the unseen wild ocean depths,\nnow bespoken to my troubled muse,\nas the starlit shapes flood my mind,\n\nCircling and cycling within the flow of the great wheel,\ncelestial beings drawn by the great tides flow.\n\nA wheeling dance to the music of the deep places,\nturning and turning in beautiful gyre,\ntowards the light turning ever tight.\n\nIn becoming the stuff of dreams we take our true forms\nsloughing away the crude matter of the flesh, the bone, and the wrongness.\n\nThought becomes self and the stuff of being,\nnow shifting with memories of selves gone past,\nand seeing ahead future destinations.\n\nWe all gather towards the center to dream as one,\nshedding all that divided us and retaining only love.\n\nAn ocean in the dark, to contrast our light,\nin void formed layers folded and turned,\nthe unknowable given shape as our star stuff shines into infinity.\n\nThere, the shimmering schools, soulmates all,\nshifting in endless murmurations and variations.\n\nThrough this, my hand seeks my companion beside me,\na fellow shimmering minnow spun near yet far,\nwe turn and dance with eachother till the next life.\n\nWe shall meet again.\nMy heart, my beautiful soul.\n\nAnd then, I come too, and wonder at what I saw.\nWas the memory real? Or perhaps a dream?\nAll that I know, it has returned to bitter reality.\n\nBut I know now, that it is, in truth,\na temporary disposition.\n\nFor we turn within the gyre,\nfor we dance upon the great wheel,\nfor we move in the circle.\n\nShimmering in the night, we are souls,\nwhat amazing profundity.\t\n",
