You just met that fox this weekend and now you want to pay him a visit. Just focus on your classes. Later, you can ask me again when you feel like it.” Said the older male.\n\n“Ok, dad. I will.” the cub said.\n\nThey finished eating their breakfast. They had bacon and sunny eggs with orange juice this time. Sebastian put his plates in the sink and went to change and get ready to leave for school. He was excited to see the fennec fox before school started.\n\nHe went down and waited for the bus to pick him up. Once it did Sebastian got in and thanked the driver as always. He sat down in the first seat available. Next to him he found a male calico cat, he looked like he had the same age, but he didn’t know him. He seemed nervous but he didn’t talk to him, he was only thinking about the little fox.\n\nOnce he arrived at the school. He went to the backside of the building. He sat on the bench next to a table and proceeded to text the fox asking him where he was. He was waiting for him to answer and thought about what would happen today. Minutes passed but the fox never replied. Not soon after the bell rang and that meant classes would start soon. Sebastian didn’t know if the fox had forgotten his phone or something, but he needed to go to class.\n\nOnce he got into the classroom, he wanted to sit in his usual spot but saw the same calico cat who had seen in the school bus. He didn’t have a problem with his seat taken, after all the only one who talked to him was Mike. Mike wasn’t there yet so he decided to sit in his place for the time being. I am also a new student. It’s only been a couple of weeks since I came to this school. You can let me know I will do my best to help you.”\n\nThe calico cat just nodded.\n\nOnce the bell rang Sebastian went to his next class history. He sat down and waited for the teacher to come in, he saw Alex and was surprised seeing him again. He didn’t want to seem pushy, so he didn’t say anything to him. He just closed his eyes and rested his head against the wooden desk.\n\n“Uh… is the next seat to you available?” Alex asked.\n\nSebastian lifted his head and saw the calico cat talking to him. He didn’t know who sat next to him in that class, so he just nodded. “I think so” he said.\n\nThe cat sat down and seemed nervous as before. Sebastian already knew that feeling and didn’t want to see him like that.\n\n“Alex”\n\nThe cat jolted when Sebastian called his name.\n\n“Sorry, I didn’t meant to scare you” He just sighed. “You remind me of me the first day I was here. I was nervous as well and didn’t know anybody, so I was alone until I met some friends, and I wasn’t as nervous anymore. If you want someone to talk to, I am here to listen.” The wolf cub said while smiling.\n\n“Thank… you. I appreciate it.” Said the cat.\n\nThe bell rang and classes started. The teacher this time wanted to teach about the American civil war and how affected and divided both parts of the country. Sebastian was keener to the union because he didn’t like to see people treated badly and was happy to know the resolution of the war.\n\nWhen the bell rang, he needed to go to his last class before lunch. He went to his usual science classroom. He sat down in one of the stools and waited for the class to start. He remembered what his father had said before about a class in health education but didn’t know anything else about it. He wanted to know if Tammy would be okay with that too.\n\nThe bell rang and classes soon started\n\nThe male rat teacher came and sat down behind his desk, a Beaver female who Sebastian had not seen before followed the science teacher. “Okay students. Today’s class is going to be a little different. There is a certain topic that we must deal with. Your parents have already been informed, and they have approved the notice. Please, I will take the attendance now and after I do, the only students that I request to stay will stay here. Everybody else will have to go with miss Elena to another classroom. She will give your normal classes this week. Those who I name will come here all week. Once we finish with it, we will resume the classes normally”\n\nThe science teacher started to take the attendance and after he did half of the class went with the beaver and half stayed. I was wrong.”\n\n“You were not wrong, we did. I really like you and was feeling torn between picking who I wanted to be with.”\n\n“Okay, where is this leading to?” she asked.\n\n“Well, I have learnt about open relationships and sounded interesting to me. I saw you talking to them.”\n\n“Nah don’t worry about them. I would rather talk with you.” The wolf started to eat his food. He noticed it was already cold, but he didn’t mind.\n\n“Why? The bell rang and the last class was there for the wolf to take.\n\n“Do you have also P.E. class?” Sebastian asked.\n\n“Yeah, would you mind showing me where do I need to go?”\n\n“Absolutely” The cub took the cat’s paw and led him to the gym.\n\nThey went down the hall and into the indoor basketball field. They went outside and got next to the teacher. \n\n“Ok cubbies, right now we are going to practice with a basketball ball. We are going to learn how to dribble and do passes. Please get with someone else and we can start after you find a partner.”\n\n“Alex, would you like to be my partner? Sebastian asked.\n\n“Yeah, I would like that” the cat said.\n\nBoth started to dribble the ball after the lioness female teacher had told them to pick a basketball ball. She showed them the optimal way for them to try. The cat had problems making it dribble. Sebastian didn’t have a problem with it.\n\nHe saw Liam talking with someone else.\n\n“I’ll be back before we start the passes, Alex. I need to ask someone something.”\n\n“Ok…” Alex said.\n\nSebastian walked towards Liam while dribbling the ball through the other cubs. Once he reached him, he spoke to him. “Liam, do you know what happened to Ethan? He didn’t answer my text. I saw him yesterday, but I don’t think he came today.”\n\nLiam looked at Sebastian before answering. “Yeah, he is sick. He won’t be coming this week probably?”\n\nSebastian didn’t know about it and felt bad that he didn’t notice anything wrong yesterday. “Is he that bad? Should I give him a visit?”\n\n“Yeah, it is complicated. He will be fine, he just needs to take his medicine.”\n\n“Ok, I hope he gets better. If you talk to him, can you tell him that I miss him, and I hope he gets better?”\n\n“Yeah, I will. Don’t worry.”\n\nThe teacher called everyone up and picked half of the balls that the students had. She told everybody to get together and throw each other the ball. Sebastian went back to Alex and accompanied him for the remainder of the class. After the passes, they began running around the field while dribbling the ball.\n\nOnce the bell rang. They went to the lockers and started to change back.\n\nSebastian started to change into his uniform but stopped when he saw the cat standing there without moving. “What is it? You want to ask me something?”\n\nAlex nodded before saying. “Do you ever take showers here in the school?” Alex asked.\n\n“I don’t. I am sorry if I make you feel uncomfortable”\n\n“Oh, don’t worry. If I took one now, I wouldn’t need to take one back home. You are actually doing me a favor now. I usually don’t shower here but, with a friend I think it would be fun.” Sebastian smiled.\n\n“Thank you” Alex said.\n\n“Don’t worry, that is what friends are for”\n\nSebastian undressed and put a towel wrapped around his waist. “Are you coming?”\n\nThe cat seemed embarrassed but eventually he dropped his undies and wrapped a towel as well.\n\nSebastian took the other cub paw and led him to the school showers. They were fairly empty, just another 3 cubs showering with them. Sebastian saw that even with him there, Alex didn’t feel as comfortable, so he decided to take him to the farthest showering head, away from everybody.\n\n“Don’t worry, is only you and me here. The other guys are focusing on themselves. Nobody is going to watch us.” Sebastian dropped his towel and put it on one of the towel hangers near the entrance of the shower.\n\nHe got in front of the cat and said. “Are you going to take the towel off or do you want me to take it off for you?” He said while laughing.\n\nThe cat blushed and took it off by himself. Once they were ready, they started to shower next to each other. Sebastian didn’t bother looking next to him. He didn’t want to make the other cub feel uncomfortable more than he already was. Once they finished the showering Sebastian noticed that they were the only ones there.\n\n“Are you ready to go? We don’t want to be late for the bus.” Sebastian said. He saw the cat looking down at his sheath. “What do I have something in me?” He asked.\n\n“You don’t have a penis. I live one block away from there, just around the corner.”\n\n“That is cool we are near each other that is sweet”\n\n“Yeah. I wouldn’t mind getting together more often.” Alex said.\n\n“I would like that too.” \n\nThey both went to the bus, they were the last ones to get inside and apologize to the driver for being a little late. They sat together and talked about their mutual interests.\n\nOnce the bus arrived at Sebastian’s house he got off after saying goodbye to Alex and exchanged contact info. He went inside the house and took off his shoes. He went to his room and checked his phone, but his boyfriend had not answered yet. He felt a little worried of what Liam had said before and just wanted to know if he was ok. He went to do his homework.\n\nA couple of hours later he heard his parents’ car. They live near each other.”\n\n“I see. well, did he told you anything else?”\n\n“He said that he was feeling sick and he probably wouldn’t come this week to school. I want to visit him and make sure he is okay.”\n\nThe older male had a feeling about what was happening. “I don’t know exactly what Ethan has, but I think I may know.”\n\n“You do? What does he have?”\n\n“It’s complicated. Just to let you know he will be fine. Eventually. He just needs to rest and take his medicine.”\n\n“But dad I want to see him.”\n\n“You can’t right now”\n\n“Why?”\n\n“I promise you he will be fine. We can talk about this later.”\n\nThe cub felt angry with his father. There was something that he wasn’t telling him.\n\nThey went to eat dinner, and after he finished, Sebastian went to his room. He had a new notification, and it was from Ethan. When he read it was a generic text saying that he was fine and he shouldn’t worry about him. After that he read an odd request to say the least. He didn’t know why Ethan had asked for it, but he wouldn’t say no to his boyfriend who was sick, even though he felt like he needed to know why he wanted it. He decided to bring the T-shirt he wore today in P.E. and put it in a bag. He felt weird doing it but if that would help him feel better sooner, he wouldn’t mind.\n\nThe next day came and all went the same. Sebastian went to school. He talked with Alex, they spent time together in classes and on recess as well. The cat felt more comfortable than before. Once The clubs came around, Sebastian went to his respective one. He is fine I promise, it is a natural thing that every cub goes through when they grow up. This time it was Ethan’s turn. Maybe once he gets better you can go visit him.”\n\n“Thank you for giving me a bit of relief, I will visit him once he feels better. I hope is sooner rather than later.”\n\nAdam called everybody who was there in the room and asked them to read a book of their preference and wanted to know the synopsis and what everybody felt about it before the bell rang. Sebastian could not focus on the book he chose and just thought about the fennec fox who was not next to him. He tried to focus the best he could, but his mind was not there with him.\n\nOnce the bell rang every cub got ready to leave. Sebastian met Alex again outside and went together to the bus. Everything fell into a routine for the following days. Sebastian kept worrying about Ethan, he could not focus on the classes, asked Liam about him, he didn’t answer completely and spent time with Alex. The cub just tried to feel like a normal week and forget about it. If Ethan didn’t want to talk to him, Sebastian would do the same.\n\nIt wasn’t until Friday in the afternoon before finishing classes. Ethan had texted Sebastian that he was feeling better, not completely recovered but good enough to see him. Sebastian felt excited about the idea of seeing his boyfriend again. He even talked to Alex after that, and the other cub just told him to calm down and be normal about it. They have become friends in that week, most of the time spending time with each other.\n\nOnce Sebastian was home, he made sure to take a shower, do his homework and make sure everything was ready for when their parents came. The cub waited in the living room watching TV hoping his parents would come home. It wasn’t until 5:00 o’ clock that they arrived. The cub waited in the front door for his parents to enter the house.\n\nOne the older male opened the door Sebastian said “Dad. Ethan said I could go visit him, he is feeling better would you please take me to see him?”\n\n“Hello, Sebastian. We just came home, please wait until we at least take our shoes off.” Said the older wolf.\n\nHis mom had never seen his son like that. “Honey, are you sure he is feeling alright? That boy was sick just recently and now you want to see him before he is completely recovered?”\n\n“Yeah, mom I cannot wait to see him. Please take me to Ethan’s house. I must see him tonight.”\n\n“Son, you need to calm down. Okay I will take you to your boyfriend, but if he is not feeling well, I will take you back. Is that okay?”\n\n“Yeah, that is fine. Can I ask Ethan’s dad if I could stay there tonight? Last time Ethan wanted to have a sleepover here, but we couldn’t do it because what happened to his dad.”\n\n“I won’t promise it. I need to talk to his dad first and make sure it is okay with him. We have to make sure he is feeling well and after that maybe you can”\n\n“Thank you, dad.” Sebastian hugged the older wolf. “I will get everything ready.
