"description": "<p>The fourth ToonTober theme was Winnie the Pooh, and I decided to do something related to the Blood and Honey film. Just so people know, I have not seen Winnie the Pooh Blood and Honey. All I know is that the original Pooh books entered the public domain along with Steamboat Willie, and there are filmmakers that want to exploit this and make cheap horror films with these characters. Unlike my first three entries, this is drawn on bristol paper with ink, olo markers, and colored pencil. The reason for this is because as I mentioned in the Tim Burton entry, a friend of mine was having a very rough October. I was visiting him and in order to continue doing these ToonTober drawings while away from my computer, I drew this on paper instead. Also, I think drawing on paper would be a little faster than drawing on my computer. With all these ToonTober drawings, it was very challenging to try and draw all these characters on-model. Entrants were allowed to draw in their own styles, but I wanted to try and match the styles of the originals, and I had a fun time looking up model sheets for different shows and movies. I also experimented with olo markers for the first time with this drawing. I was inspired to start trying olo markers after seeing what artist Bordin Marsinkul was able to do with them. (here's a video of Bordin drawing one of my characters with olo markers <a href=\"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6jAbxy0LLr8\" rel=\"nofollow ugc\">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6jAbxy0LLr8</a>). I'm glad how this turned out. Next up, a drawing based on animator Don Bluth!</p>\n"
