Here's some more family members from Cinnamon and Midnight's strange family tree. On their father's side, they have a wacky uncle and cousin, and an absent aunt who may or may not be dead (I'll get to that when I draw her in this series). I also gave them a set of grandparents, however I haven't been able to find any old comics where it's said if they're from the father's side or mother's side. Since Cinnamon and Midnight already have family on their father's side, I'll make these their maternal grandparents so that part of the family tree gets filled out a bit. I don't know why I never gave them a second set of grandparents, but I guess my younger self never considered it. Oh well. -shrug-
\n\nOh yeah, I should probably explain who these grandparents are. These elderly guinea pigs are Pollen and Danny. I can't remember why I gave Pollen that name, however Danny was named after my own paternal grandfather. Grandpa's middle name was Daniel and for some reason, grandma rarely called my grandpa his first name and instead called him by his middle name \"Danny.\" It just stuck out to me so I named Cinnamon and Midnight's grandfather Danny. I now wish I'd instead given Pollen a different grandmotherly sounding name, but I'm just going to stick with it. :/ Danny and Pollen did not appear in many of my old comics though. Most of the comics I did focusing on Cinnamon and Midnight's family involved either their parents or Uncle Weird. The few times Danny and Pollen did appear, it would just be jokes about them being old fashioned and not understanding modern times. They just weren't as funny as the rest of Cinnamon and Midnight's family, so that's probably why their appearances were limited.
\n\nThe top drawing of Danny and Pollen comes from either December 1998/January 1999 since it came after a 1998 Christmas comic and there's supposed to be snow on the ground. It's the only colored drawing of Danny and Pollen I found, and only their clothes are colored! Dunno if they were meant to be white furred guinea pigs, but since Cinnamon and Midnight's mother Rose is a black furred guinea pig, I gave Danny and Pollen greying fur to match that side of the family. Pollen also now wears a yellow dress to be somewhat reminiscent of her namesake. The two drawings below are examples of comics from August 2002 where Cinnamon thought it was a good idea to insult his grandparents.
