[b]When Summer Becomes Routine\n[b][/b]\n\nThe fan kept turning with almost symbolic insistence, as if more than moving air, it was trying to convince them it was doing something. \n\nThe afternoon light slanted across the couch, tracing the contours of their bodies still warm from training. Their clothes had been dropped wherever—shirts over a chair, socks forgotten near the table—and now they remained there in their plain underwear, sharing the space without hurry, as if the heat had slowed time itself.\n\nLegoshi ran a hand along his neck, still damp, then let his arm fall against the backrest with a soft thud.\n\n“I think the worst part of training in summer isn’t the workout… it’s everything that comes after.”\n\nLouis, reclining beside him, turned his head just enough to look at him, wearing that expression that always seemed caught between judgment and curiosity.\n\n“After? I’d say it’s during. You get sloppy. Less precise.”\n\n“No...” Legoshi shook his head slightly. “It’s this. Sitting still and feeling like your body hasn’t cooled down yet. Like... it’s still working.”\n\nLouis studied him for a moment, then shifted his gaze toward the ceiling.\n\n“That’s because you don’t know how to manage your effort.”\n\n“Or because you pretend it doesn’t affect you.” Responded the wolf.\n\nLouis let out a short breath, almost a laugh.\n\n“I don’t pretend. I adapt.”\n\nSilence returned for a moment, but it wasn’t uncomfortable. Legoshi glanced down and noticed a pair of socks lying loosely on the floor.\n\n“Hey... are those yours?”\n\nLouis followed his gaze.\n\n“Probably. I dropped them when we got here.”\n\n“Since when do you just leave them lying around like that?”\n\n“Since I realized picking them up in this heat is a waste of energy; also, my soles were begging to set them free, theyb were drowning in sweat back at the gym”\n\nLegoshi smiled, more at ease.\n\n“I know how you feel, my feet are going through the same... however, I usually end up putting my socks away. Though sometimes I don’t even know which ones are mine. In the locker room everything gets mixed up... socks, shirts… even underwear.”\n\nLouis raised an eyebrow slightly.\n\n“So you take what isn’t yours by ‘mistake’ too?”\n\n“Not on purpose...” Legoshi replied, scratching the back of his neck. “It just... happens.”\n\nLouis let out a soft sigh, adjusting himself slightly on the couch.\n\n“That explains a few things.”\n\nLegoshi didn’t respond right away. His gaze drifted, almost unconsciously, toward Louis’s waist, then back ahead.\n\nLouis noticed.\n\n“What?”\n\n“Nothing... I was just thinking.”\n\n“Then think out loud.”\n\nLegoshi hesitated for a second, then gave in.\n\n“Do you always wear that kind of underwear?”\n\nLouis turned his head fully this time, a mix of interest and faint amusement in his expression.\n\n“That’s what’s on your mind now?”\n\n“It’s not concern... just curiosity.”\n\nA small smile formed on Louis’s lips.\n\n“Yeah. I like variety. Colors, cuts… whatever’s more comfortable.”\n\nLegoshi nodded slowly.\n\n“It shows, they look good on you, size and everything.”\n\n“Oh, does it? Thanks buddy...” Louis tilted his head slightly. “And you? Is it me, or do you always wear the same plain things?”\n\nLegoshi looked down, as if the answer were there.\n\n“I... I always wear the same thing. White or black. It’s easier for me.”\n\n“I figured,” Louis replied. “You always wear that style, don’t you? It suits you, but it looks like you don’t own anything else.”\n\nLegoshi let out a quiet laugh.\n\n“I have like 3 or 4 pairs more at my place... they just all look the same. However, I've been lossing them lately, you know the gym is a wild zone.\"\n\n\"Don´t tell me\" said Louis, now examinating the wolf's crotch area.\n\n\"Besides, with this heat, doing laundry takes longer. It piles up.” Legosgi responded.\n\nLouis crossed his arms, relaxed.\n\n“That’s why I don’t bother as often. Actually... I’ve been wearing these since yesterday, and I hope they can last till tomorrow's workout again.”\n\nLegoshi turned his head, surprised.\n\n“Seriously?”\n\n“What?” Louis replied casually. “It’s not like we’ve been somewhere clean today or like somebody was going to come over that I should worry about.”\n\nLegoshi hesitated before speaking.\n\n“They look... fine, I guess? A bit damp down the waistband are but still, I think you should wash them. The smell does carry a bit.”\n\nLouis let out a low, incredulous laugh while he raised his arm to his back and rest his head on his hand, showing now his armpit in full diplay to the wolf.\n\n“I’m not responsible for your sensitive nose... although, how does it smell?\"\n\n\"I get an Earthy and musky aroma, but that must be the socks you left wandering on the floor\" Legoshi studied the room.\n\n\"Yeah, but not bad in general am I right?\" Louis tried to get Legoshi's sight on him.\n\n\"No... it's surprisingly pleasing...\" Said the wolf, getting his nose filled with the musk of Louis near armpits and the dampness of both of his bottomwear.\n\nAlso, don't forget the fact that we just trained, so don't expect the room to smell like perfume”\n\n“Don't worry, It was just a comment, jeez...”\n\nLouis glanced at him sideways, a different spark in his eyes.\n\n“Right... Now that I remember, I think someone sitting beside me took something of mine a while ago and he hasn't returned it yet.”\n\nLegoshi tensed slightly.\n\n“What are you talking about?”\n\n“My jockstraps Legoshi, the white ones with a gold color waistband, they are my favorites.”\n\nA brief silence followed and Legoshi looked away.\n\n“Didn't I gave them to you already?”\n\nLouis let out an exaggerated sigh.\n\n“If that were the case, I'd be wearing them right now.’”\n\n“Oh... then I must have them in my room,” Legoshi added. “I can give them back, just wait till I wash them with my laundry for the week.”\n\nLouis shook his head, closing his eyes.\n\n“Know what? Forget it. Keep them if you want. I have more in my closet.”\n\nLegoshi looked at him, surprised.\n\n“That doesn’t bother you? I mean, they were your favorites”\n\n\"I know... but by the time you return them to me, they won't be feeling exactly the same as before.\" Louis looked at Legoshi with drippy eyes.\n\n\"But I rarely used them!, I only weared them in times of formal attire or at nights I was in heat, I promise you they are fine.\"\n\n\"Then how come I've never seen you wearing them once? Sound like you liked to used them as a facemask...\" Louis was starting to tease a bit, his fist was trying to get close to his bulge, but still, trying to look serene.\n\nLegoshi couldn’t help but smile, his fist was also trying to reach for his crotch but still, not touching, this was only a method of relaxation and a way to deal with the summer heat, nothing more.\n\nThe fan kept spinning. Outside, the heat lingered—heavy, constant. But inside the room, something had shifted. It was no longer just the discomfort of the weather or the fatigue from training. It was the ease of speaking without weighing every word, of noticing details that would’ve gone ignored before, of sharing even those small habits usually kept private.\n\nLegoshi leaned back again, this time more at ease.\n\n“I guess summer makes everything more... obvious.”\n\nLouis opened one eye.\n\n“Obvious?”\n\n“Yeah. What we wear, what we do... what we let slide.”\n\nLouis watched him for a few seconds, then closed his eyes again.\n\n\"You haven't lost yet, do you Legoshi?\" Asked Louis.\n\n\"No Louis, never. I's been hard this past 3 weeks since the school changed the rules, but I´m clean...\"\n\n\"Good, then you better move your fist away from your very obvious bulge, wolf\"\n\n\"Sorry, my balls itch a bit\"\n\n\"Don't say...\"\n\nSilence returned, but now it had weight. Not awkward, not tense. Just… shared.\n\nThe fan turned. The light kept falling.
