Talon knew he had all the advantages over the lizard. His half-dragon form was bigger than she was and he had a far greater command of magics at his disposal. those paled in comparison to him simply being dragon, something lizardfolk worshiped by instinct and culture. Even though Leviathan was missing a good deal of that culture, those instincts were still strong.
The pond was a known secret of the small group that visited the fey forest, he had used it frequently himself so it was little surprise to find one of the lizardfolk there, and he had in fact been hoping to catch this one in particular. While he could simply visit her in the camp with others, a chance encounter was always more enjoyable.
\"Fancy meeting you here, in this secluded little pond. What's a pretty little lizard doing in a pond like this?\" said the dragon, putting on his most charming smile and speaking perfect draconic.
Leviathan blinked curiously at the dragon several times, head slightly tilted as she pondered his question, answering in the only way a naked female could as she floated on her back in the water and was faced by a handsome dragon. She told him exactly what she was doing, \"An offering for Dragon.\"
Smiling even wider, Talon licked his lips and gave a long, luxurious stretch, knowing exactly what she was offering. \"Well then, I must acc...\" he started before a very wet, very slimy and very cold fish smacked him right in the face, his hand just missing the unexpected projectile with not quite fast enough reflexes. \"Auuugh!\"
Peeling the fish off his face, the bard suppressed a sigh, shaking his head at the completely ruined approach but one glance at the lizard's happy, and very alluring smile reminded him that to a lizardfolk, an offering of food was the language of love. For ones so obsessed with food, and so aggressive over it, giving another even a bite of their dinner was considered a powerful sign of friendship and affection. It wasn't a language he was familiar with, and for a moment he was unsure what to do with the fish in his hand. Eat it? Share it? These lizardfolk were not like most others he had seen, confusing and interesting him in equal amounts. he pondered his options, all the while watching the blue female floating lazily before him.
Leviathan was not impressed with the dragons poor display of catching her offering or even understanding what to do with it. Luckily for him, he had, other qualities that were more impressive that he had demonstrated in previous encounters. Perhaps her next offering would be more successful...
