As this commissioned back in 2013, I still had yet to wholly scope out Melee's personality, so I just had Kit draw up a basic pose of Melee with some mountains in the background (Melee's homeland is a pretty mountainous place dotted with large valleys in various places). The experimental aspects were all Kit's idea, however. It was... not something I had expected, but it was a pleasant surprise that helps it better stand out in my folder.
\n\n
Don't have a lot else to say about this one, other than I like the minimalist approach Kit took with this one. There are some things I would've liked to see changed now that I look back on it (the skirt's much too short, the sleeves should flare out a lot more, the mountains should look more jagged and rugged), but... again, this was done years ago and I can still appreciate the drawing's simplicity. Sometimes less is more, yes?
\n\n
\n

Original drawing made by kitsovereign (Twitter / FurAffinity)
\n\n
Melee is property of SilverMelee, A.K.A. myself.

\n"
