"description": "\"TAHOOOOOOOOOO~!!\"\n\nZenny's ears perk up when she hears the familiar, baritone call of her local taho vendor. Pausing her game, she rushes out of her modest home to meet the man outside, perking up eagerly when he spots her. She stops just outside her house, waiting for the man eagerly, swaying her hips from side to side in anticipation of her favorite treat.\n\n\"There's my favorite customer!\" a Machoke calls out to her, carrying his baldes of deliciousness. Stopping in front of her house, he eases the containers on the street and bends down, opening the lid of the tofu and reaching in to grab the small spoon inside and, with casual expertise, begins scooping out some of the liquid forming inside and tossing it onto the cement below him. \"So, how's the stream been, ha Zenny? Snipe any noobs today?\" he asks her, making her laugh and shake her head.\n\n\"No, not this time Manong. I've been playing this new puzzle game upside down! Beat 22 levels so far and I've been on a streak!\"\n\n\"Wow, 22 huh? That's really good, I think,\" he laughs, reaching for two plastic cups tied to a thick wooden club he's been using to carry the taho around. \"Upside down, though, huh? Doesn't that make you dizzy?\"\n\n\"That's the challenge though Manong! I wanna see how far I can go, though I guess the challenge is over now that you're here,\" she says, smiling to him as he begins filling both cups with soy. \n\n\"Just be careful ha. Don't want my favorite customer to end up in the hospital for a challenge,\" he says, filling both cups to the brim with tofu before closing the lid of the container, then turning to the smaller one next to it and opening one side of the lid, which held both syrup and sago pearls.\n\n\"Don't worry Manong! I know my limits, when to push them, and when to stop!\" Zenny brays in delight, her eyes shifting from the Machoke to the taho he was preparing, filling the small plastic cups with syrup and sago. \n\nHe catches her staring and grins, pouring just a few extra sago pearls into the cup. \"Just for you, my dear. Extra sago, just the way you like it!\" he says with a smile, handing Zenny both.\n\nZenny squealed in delight and reached in her pocket for her payment, handing it to him before gingerly taking one cup, then the next. \n\n\"Hey, this is too much, it's only 20 each ha,\"\n\n\"It's okay, keep the change, Manong!\" Zenny said, taking a sip of her taho and moaning in delight from the sugary treat melting in her mouth. \"It's a tip, and a thank you!\"\n\nManong Juan smiled, looking at the 100 she gave him, and smiled. \"Heh, always tipping me, you're too good to me Zenny. Next time I'll give you more sago!\"\n\n\"Bet!\" Zenny smiled to him. \"Thanks again Manong!! You're the BEST!\"\n\n\"Tomorrow again, ha Zenny?\" \n\n\"Yup~! See you tomorrow, Manong Juan!\"\n\n~~~~~\n\nSo, I meant to post this yesterday, but I was out of town to celebrate the Philippines Independence Day with my family and wasn't able to post it, so it's a biiiit late. BUT! It's here now, and with a story that hits a little close to home for me. \n\nSee, when I was growing up, I used to buy taho from this wonderful taho vendor who'd visit my house every day. I'd always buy from him whenever I got back from school and would have it as a yummy late afternoon snack.\n\nEventually, school would end later in the day and he'd stop coming to my house, with me eventually learning that he had passed away. While it's been years since then, I still love eating taho and that memory of buying it from a street vendor still hits my nostalgia to this day. \n\nAs such, I wanted to celebrate the Philippines Independence Day by drawing something simple, sweet, and at least for me, feels very Filipino. \n\nAlso, this IS canon to Zenny's life as I continue to build up her story, so expect more Philippine influence in her life! <3 \n\n\nMabuhay Philippines! <3"
