I'm not sure where everyone assumes Absol is a canine is coming from though, they have much more of a feline face, the mane feels pretty feline, even the body shape and stance a bit. It feels somewhere between a cougar and a white lion.\n\nBut that's just how it is, people seem to also assume mightyena is canine, even stuff like the luxray or typhlosion lines are pretty much always given canine anatomy. \n\nAs for Umbreon, with the eeveelutions you can make a pretty good argument that the only one that is feline coded is espeon, the rest are more fox-like.",
