I had the absolute honor of doing audio for the legendary Acheroth! I cannot thank him enough for commissioning me on board, and being so generous & flexible.
When it comes to linear media, this was the largest project I’ve ever been a part of. We brainstormed back and forth for a couple months to gauge what he specifically wanted for this. We wanted to emulate the chaos associated with the classic episodes. Suffice to say, I wanted to deliver it tenfold since this animation literally reaches new heights.
\n\nThe music was my favorite half to work on, since I finally got to put Andre’s lil’ theme melody to use! I’m so excited to show more of it down the line. I tried my best to have it start off sporadic, disjointed and unsettling with short jerky sounds. I gradually added more instruments, rhythm, and sustained harmony as Andre got visibly more confident with his new size. Conveying an evolving vibe through music was a fun challenge in this!
\n\nAlso the sound design was so rewarding to finally see finished... Good lord, that was a lotta work.
