  "description": "<div><p>This is the sixth quartet of cards in my Pony Tarot Nouveau project, featuring the four \"leisures\" (of <em>fin de siècle</em> France) on atouts 12 to 15: Somnambula for dance, Rarity for shopping, Rainbow Dash for \"open air\" (<a href=\"https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Tarot_nouveau_-_Grimaud_-_1898_-_Trumps_-_14.jpg\" rel=\"nofollow ugc\">the actual card</a> shows hunting and fishing) and Photo Finish for visual arts, in that order.</p></div><div><br></div>\n<div><p>Once again I had to agonise over the design of one of the cards. <a href=\"https://derpibooru.org/images/3358295\" rel=\"nofollow ugc\">My initial vector</a> of Somnambula featured questionable leg anatomy and it took some prodding from Sollace to rectify, while afterwards I had to make a suitable background for her but wanted to minimise any association with ancient Egypt – the Frenchman Antoine Court de Gébelin was the first to make the totally unfounded claim that tarot originated in that time and place rather than in Renaissance Italy.
