Drawn April 2-4, 2020. On the same day I finished an image sitting on my hard drive for almost a decade, I began an early experiment in doing multiple versions of the same textmode image, starting from the classic code page 437 and EGA palette used by ZZT, to MegaZeux's default character set plus an extra shade of red, and finally with a custom character set and palette.
\n\nWhile merely a generic character at the time I drew this, this kangaroo went on to become Mason Kirk, Agent of the Cyberspace Bureau, who would appear in the ending of Cyber Purge alongside Agent Gale Fields, and the two of them would return in a massive wallpaper-sized piece in 2025.
