It's also crazy how in almost every page the tail kinks are at the end and this page clearly shows him cutting it near the base, but I guess nothing matters if the artist desperately wants the character to have a nipped tail.",

      "body": "This is what happened with Skye's tail ultimately. \n\nIn the first comic, Another Night, ( https://e621.net/pools/22472 ) we see that Skye's tail already had a kink in her tail like it had been broken before.\n\nIn the next comic, The Dam, ( https://e621.net/pools/36650 ) she is in a bike accident and breaks her tail again, confirming that it had been broken once before and this time, it broke in the same place as before.\n\nIn the more recent comic, A Wild Night, ( https://e621.net/pools/50165 ) we see that the end of her tail is bandaged and considerably shorter than before. It is most likely that after breaking her tail twice in the same location, there was no fixing it and the only solution left was a partial amputation of her tail, removing the injured part.",

Dogs that wag their tails alot walk around with fractures all the time with little to now issue besides some tenderness immediately after the injury. You get 'happy tail' now and again where the tail past the fracture basically dies and falls off, but that's only if the blood supply is compromised by the fracture. Her tail has been like this for months regarding the first break and years regarding the second. Blood supply is obviously fine. Absolutely no reason to be cutting anything off. Like my dude, this is the modern day. We have technology. Bash it with a computer like a sensible person. Damn",
