Revamped over the past few days with brand new lines and colouring. I spent a long time with choice indecision about what colours to pick for him. Yinglets have so many colour variations! They're such varied littl' guys! Eventually I settled on some greens for Kree all over, including some rather fluorescent bright green hair. I immediately assume this hair of his absorbs sunlight and glows in the dark. Yinglet DNA with Kree's cells just goes haywire with mutations. Compared to him Yinglets are downright stable!
I also added some inner Kree computer-subsystem effects just for fun. Everything still mostly works with his shapeshifting, but he's been all jumbled up inside mentally (and physically, getting all Ying'ed). So he's going to be a little bit under-clocked just trying to recall his name. Or else, a new friend is just going to suggest a new one for him before that happens… 🤔
All those absurdly-overpowered-for-his-own-good shapeshifting powers and he's forgotten literally everything about how to use 'em!
Some Yinglet-based TF sketches I did during last weekend's stream. My first ever attempt at drawing these little dudes, even though I've been a big fan of the comic for ages now. I think I still need some more practise to properly capture their Yinglet-y essence 😛
Anyone unfamiliar with the adorable rat-bird-things called Yinglets should go read Valsalia's entertaining comic!
Kree's been Yinglet-ified, which is all sorts of distressing. The sudden transformation (and passing out from mental exhaustion) has derailed whatever might pass for a proper train of thought in his suddenly-miniaturised brain. He's gotten so scatterbrained by the ordeal that he's forgotten a few things… like his name, and the fact that he wasn't previously a Yinglet :V
Well, that's not a big deal, he can recover from a small bit of post-tf amnesia… as long as he can clear his mind and focus on recovering… his… uhh… oh right… Yinglet… ¯\(ツ)/¯
Kree and Yinglets do share some commonalities in that they are both uncoordinated, distractible, and highly prone to random genetic mutations, so perhaps this is some sort of teleporter-auto-correct accident fitting him into the closest-matching species? 😛
I was on the fence on whether to even include the absurdity that is the udder (after all, with limbs like that you definitely don't need extra balance woes), but hey, those Yinglets sure do get some weird mutations every now and then, don't they? If he ever remembers he's a shapeshifter he can probably get rid of it anyway… but if not, I assume his new friends will enjoy the free milk…
